Q: Must I join AYP through the Schools Operating Authority?

Q: Must I join AYP through the Schools Operating Authority?

A: You can choose to join AYP through your school as a participant of SOA. Or, you can join other Operating Authorities of AYP.

Q: What is the difference between Direct Silver level and Silver level?

A: The age requirement for both Silver and Direct Silver level is 15 years old. If you have completed the Bronze level, you can then start the Silver level. Otherwise, you should start the Direct Silver level. Please refer to the AYP Handbook for the different requirements of activities.

Q: I am under 14, can I still participate?

A: If you are 12 or above, why not join our Green Bird in Action to get some hands-on experience.

Q: Do I have to pay for the membership fees?

A: Participants only have to pay $35 for the Record Book.

Q: If I am not a secondary school student, can I still join SOA?

A: Definitely yes, except the case of those graduates.
