Sponsorship Program Years after years, the Schools Operating Authority has been working hard to encourgae students of different family backgrounds to join the award activities. Through providing challenges of different kinds, secondary students are striking a balance outside the classroom. In these fews year, we have been providing indifferent courses such as Samba dance course, Beach handball course, 10 Kilomiles Marathon, Wetland touring, Circus performing arts training, Web DJ training, and a lot of innovative courses such as the Dancers and Mime peformers experiencing camp which are the first in Hong Kong. Up till April 2008, the participants from 224 secondary schools within Hong Kong are adding up to 35,000 students already. In face of such a large crowd of participants, though SOA has the Education Bureau sponsoring its expenses, we still need the support from the Headquarter of Hong Kong Award for Young People and the other donations, in order to support to support SOA in providing more varities of new challenges for teenagers. If you are internested in making donation to us, please feel free to post your cheque (made payable to: Hong Kong Award for Young People) to Note: Donations of $100 or above can receive a receipt which can be used for tax redemption. Teenagers are the future pillars of our society. They need opportunities for their growth, your help enables us to provide more and more opportunties for making changes in the life of out future pillars. |
